Yep! I did 500gp = 1D. But looking at some other conversions, I think it really needs to be looked at on a case by case basis. The treasure distribution in D&D is totally chaotic and out of control

Nice chat! Newbie TB GM here (though I have been GMing since the early 80s.) I too tend to convert existing stuff, and treasure is always a bit of a chore to deal with. I am not sure I grasped what you said: is it 500gp equivalent to 1D of treasure? I went for 1000gp/1D but it’s probably too conservative. I am using Thunder Rift (the Basic D&D micro setting of the early 90s) and its modules, and it’s working remarkably well in TB. Paradoxically it works better in TB than it did as a D&D setting.
